Summary
Photograph - Studio portrait, full length, of a grey haired man standing with his right arm on the back of a chair with barley-twist legs and back, his right leg slightly bent. He wears a dark frock coat with light coloured trousers and pale waistcoat and has a monocle hanging around his neck. Draped textured curtain on left of photograph; plain walls with deep skirting board, patterned carpet. Contained in a dark green leather photograph album with embossed design on front and back, containing twenty four pages, forty eight sides, with slip-in sections and gold printed borders.
Provenance
This album was a gift from the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953.
