Summary
Postcard of a photograph by Fred Kitto of Fowey showing the Prince of Wales, later King George V, in the centre of the photograph looking at a man talking to him with his hand in the air, and the Princess of Wales, later Queen Mary, standing on the left of the two women behind the policeman. The Hon. Everilda Agar-Robartes, 1881-1969, can be seen second from right. Possibly Fowey. c.1903 One of a collection of photographs taken during the visit of the Prince and Princess of Wales, later King George V and Queen Mary.
Provenance
A gift from the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953.
