Summary
Boy's coat - Gold/mustard velvet coat with collar-less v-neck, imitation flap pockets and cream lace at wrists; a black bow at the back of the neck. All eighteen buttons are missing and the lining is worn at the back of the neck. From a four piece boy's suit comprising of coat, breeches, waistcoat and jabot.
Provenance
The Agar-Robartes family were very keen on dressing up and several costumes were found in the attics after the National Trust acquired the house.
