Summary
Fancy dress waistcoat - The waistcoat from a boy's Naval three-piece fancy dress costume, comprising of a jacket, trousers and waistcoat. The cream woollen waistcoat is edged in gold braid, with two flap pockets; the cotton back has buckled belt.
Provenance
The Agar-Robartes family were very keen on dressing up and several costumes were found in the attics after the National Trust acquired the house in 1953.
