Summary
Fancy dress breeches - The breeches from a boy's Naval three-piece fancy dress costume, comprising of a jacket, trousers and waistcoat. The breeches of cream wool with three anchored buttons and gold braiding with tassel at knee. Twelve bone buttons around waist and fly fastening.
Provenance
The Agar-Robartes family were very keen on dressing up and several costumes were found in the attics after the National Trust acquired the house in 1953.
