Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Mary Dickinson, Viscountes Clifden (1853 - 1921) by Edwin Long, RA (Bath 1829 – Hampstead 1891), signed lower left: EL (in monogram) 1885. A three-quarter length portrait of the daughter of F. H. Dickinson of Kingweston, Somerset and wife of the Hon. Thomas Charles, 2nd Lord Robartes, afterwards 6th Viscount Clifden, with whom she had ten children. She is seated slightly to the right, head facing, wearing a pale yellow dress and playing a guitar.

By descent, until given by Gerald, 7th Viscount Clifden (1883-1966), with the transfer of the house to the National Trust in 1953
