Summary
Black basalt oval teapot with straight sides, fluted loop handle with acanthus terminal, almost flat cover with widow finial, decorated with cupids, from a Neale and Co. part tea service decorated with figures divided by Greek vessels all in relief. Below the relief work is a band of vertical ribbing, the narrow bands are etched.
