Summary
Peach-shaped sauceboat, soft-paste porcelain, after a Chinese original, modelled as a peach with applied flowers and foliate branch-form handle; leaves and part of the stalk at the foot glazed in green, the flower in pink and yellow, whilst the other scattered flower sprigs are enamelled in blue, pink, green and deep red. The interior has a single flower spray, Bow China Works, East London, circa 1755-1760.
