Summary
(Folio 18, recto, lower print) Two men with a heavily laden donkey walking towards us - one is bending down tightening the strap across the donkey's front. Sheep are to one side more men one on horseback in the background with cattle - mountains in the distance.
Provenance
At Saltram by 1771 and thence by descent to Montagu Brownlow Parker (1878-1962), 5th Earl of Morley and given to NT as part of the Endowment following transfer in 1957.
