Summary
Pencil drawings on tracing paper; on the left a standing man in armour with a long sword, three-quarters profile looking left down to earth; an helmet; two knights with lances, one of them on a horse, the other standing; a small religious procession of seven men; running horses; a bull; a man on a horse with a banner; a small scene with a standing and a kneeling man; another horse; turning the sheet; a rider who has got off his horse to let it get water; a knight with coat of mail in a landscape with a mountain complaining the dead of his horse that is lying on the right side.
Provenance
At Saltram by 1962 and given to NT as part of the endowment by Montagu Brownlow Parker (1878-1962), 5th Earl of Morley.
