Summary
Pencil drawings on tracing paper (figure drawing); three figures, from the left side; a standing Saint ... [Hieronimus], reading in a book, dressed in a long white coat and his flat, large hat; another Holy holding a book under his left arm; John the Baptist dressed with the pelt and a long cape, holding a Stick in his right hand in front of his body and pointing up to his left with the left hand.

At Saltram by 1962 and given to NT as part of the endowment by Montagu Brownlow Parker (1878-1962), 5th Earl of Morley.
Marks and inscriptions
on the other face of the tracing paper, so that it comes out as mirror-image, top left; 'San Geronimo da Benozzo Gozza[?]li a Montefalco' and bottom left; 'a Monte Falco', and below the figure in the middle; 'San Francesco a Montefalco'
