Pencil drawing on tracing paper (landscape drawing); a fountain with two rectangular troughs, under a big old tree, slightly inclined to the left; three woman in peasant dress are taking water at the fountain, one standing before it, two behind it; in the background; on the left, a street leading into the pictures space, bushes and trees and a terrace or a small bridge on the right, with three persons standing on it.
