Summary
Painted plaster, Ceres, British (English) School, c. 1760. A painted plaster cast statuette depicting Ceres, the Roman goddess of agriculture. On integrally cast square bases, each with metal doweling rods. Paired with NT 872413.1, a statuette of goddess of flowers and spring, Flora, after the Farnese prototype.
