Summary
Large vase shaped silver tea urn standing on a square base with greek key border and circular half-fluted stem. The body is half chased with a band of acanthus decoration on the neck and on the finial. The handles are of writhing snake pattern. Engraved on the body with the Parker crest, and fitted with an ivory handle tap.
Provenance
Accepted in part payment of death duties by HM Treasury from the executors of Edmund Robert Parker (1877-1951), 4th Earl of Morley and transferred to NT in 1957.
