Summary
Clock; Clock-watch in a case in the manner of Boulle by Thomas Tompion. Signed and numbered 'Tho Tompion London 50' the movement is circa 1695. Steel 'beetle and poker' hands. The clock is engraved and pierced but without a mask head introduced into the design. It has a pierced cockfoot with only a slightly wavy edge, a locking wheel striking mechanism normal regulator, fine blued steel work, verge escapement and tulip pillars.
