Summary
A mahogany dumb waiter, English, late 18th century. Of three broadening tiers, each with a moulded edge and raised on vase-turned columns with spiral fluting, all on three downswept legs terminating in pointed pad feet and raised on brass castors.
Provenance
Date and method of acquisition not recorded, but at Saltram by 1951 and accepted by HM Treasury in lieu of full payment of Death Duty from the Executors of Edmund Robert Parker (1877 - 1951), 4th Earl of Morley.
