Summary

A Plymouth porcelain teapot of globular form with ribbed strap handle and straight spout painted in a famille vertr manner with chrysanthemums, foliage and insects within gilt double arching borders. has a red 'tin' mark.

Provenance

Made at the Plymouth Factory c.1770.One of 19 pieces part of a bequest to Saltram and received 12/02/2003
