Summary
Dish, porcelain, round with everted rims, made in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province, China, Kangxi period (1662–1722), early 18th century, decorated in underglaze blue with in the centre a boy dancing on a terrace, a vase with flowers behind, within a lobed and pointed border, surrounded by four vignettes of Buddhist emblems and precious objects interspersed with four roundels with floral and foliate decoration in reserve, a band of stylised cash symbols around the rim.
