Summary
Dish, porcelain, octagonal with re-entrant corners and with an upwardly curved rim, made in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province, China, Yongzheng period (1723–35), decorated in underglaze blue with a vignette in the centre depicting a vase with magnolia, chrysanthemum and pomegranate and with a lotus next to it, surrounded by a border of stylised curled motifs, in turn surrounded by flowers sprays and with a band of diaper pattern interspersed with cartouches with stylised floral scrolls.
