Figure group, hard paste porcelain, four cherubs representing the four seasons on an asymmetric base, modelled by modelled by Karl Gottlieb Lück, made at Frankenthal, Germany, ca 1770-89; decorated in naturalistic polychrome enamels, Spring is garlanded with flowers, Summer holds a sheaf of corn, Autumn is depicted as Bacchus astride a barrel, and Winter is seated in a fur lined cloak in front of a brazier.
