Summary
Tea canister, soft paste porcelain, standing on low spreading foot, ovoid body and short, cylindrical neck, Worcester Porcelain Factory, 1770-5; decorated with 'dry blue' overglaze blue enamels, with floral sprays and occassional individual sprigs, simple dentil gilt border to the foot and neck and rim.

At Saltram by 1951 and accepted by HM Treasury in lieu of full payment of Estate Duty from the Executors of Edmund Robert Parker (1877-1951), 4th Earl of Morley
