Summary
Wedgwood and Bentley style black basalt vase of classical form and upturned handles and domed foot. The ovoid body painted with cupids among clouds in brown and white 'encaustic'enamel between bands of key-fret and anthemion.
Provenance
Transferred to The National Trust as part of the endowment provided by Montagu Brownlow Parker (1778-1962),5th Earl of Morley.
