Summary
Tray from a part cabaret tea service, hard paste porcelain, overall square form with scalloped rim and rounded corners, Ansbach, Germany, ca 1790-1810;pink ground with roundel in reserve at centre painted in polychrome enamel with a bird on a branch, the roundel and rim both decorated in gilt with a band of stars above and below a wavy line, solid bands of gilding at rim and framing the roundel.

At Saltram by 1951 and accepted by HM Treasury in lieu of full payment of Death Duty from the Executors of Edmund Robert Parker (1877-1951), 4th Earl of Morley
