Summary
Milk jug from a part cabaret tea service, hard paste porcelain, cylindrical body with moulded bands at foot and shoulder, flaring spout, handle with square profile, Ansbach, Germany, ca 1790-1810; pink ground with large oval roundel in reserve at centre of body painted in polychrome enamel with a bird on a branch, bands of gilt stars and dots above and below a wavy line to the foot and upper body, gilt foliate design above shoulder, the handle and rim also in gilt.

At Saltram by 1951 and accepted by HM Treasury in lieu of full payment of Death Duty from the Executors of Edmund Robert Parker (1877-1951), 4th Earl of Morley
