Pair of covered bowls, porcelain, round with upwardly curved sides, made in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province, China, probably 19th century, decorated in the famille rose (‘pink family’) palette in pink, blue, green enamels with stylised flowers and foliage on a yellow ground.

Accepted by HM Government in lieu of inheritance tax and allocated to the National Trust, 1957.
