Provenance
Canon Hardwicke Drummond Rawnsley (1851-1920), co-founder of the Trust, at Allan Bank, Grasmere (where Wordsworth had lived between 1808-11); left to the National Trust by the will of Canon H. D. Rawnsley by his widow in 1951 and transferred to Wordsworth House in 1983
