Summary
Oak trunk case clock. Maker R. Stevens, Bridgnorth, 1740. Brass dial with crown and cherub spandrels, single steel hour hand is filigree. Side of mahogany dial case has a catch which opens to expose dial workings. Case has a square topped hood, flanked by plain columns, rectangular trunk door, plinth with skirting. Wood tarnished and chipped.
