Summary
Cabriolet fan. leaf divided into two parts, painting on paper showing a cabriolet in a landscape. Reverse with figures in landscape. Ivory sticks, carved and painted with fruit, flowers and animals, backed with mother-of-pearl. Jewelled pivot pin. 18 sticks and 2 guard sticks. Labelled 'Bought in Italy by Mr C. Dalison, C18'. Italian. Piece of mother-of-pearl detached.
Provenance
Part of the Bristol Collection. Acquired by the National Trust in 1956 under the auspices of the National Land Fund, later the National Heritage Memorial Fund.
