Summary
Fan. Leaf of paper painted with fishing scene. Ivory sticks, elaborately carved and painted and decorated with mother-of-pearl, some missing. Reverse of leaf painted with a pastoral scene with two figures. Probably Dutch. c.1750. Label 'Given by Ld Henry Percy. Bought in Holland'. 20 sticks and 2 guards. Painted ivory pivot pin.
Provenance
Part of the Bristol Collection. Acquired by the National Trust in 1956 under the auspices of the National Land Fund, later the National Heritage Memorial Fund.
