Summary
White facecloth jacket, part of white facecloth suit. Mid-thigh length. Trimmed with Russian braid, with 9 silk-covered toggles running down both central sides of the front panels. Jacket lined with cream silk satin. Label inside reads '11.Cortice 15 Sackville St London'. Worn by Lady Bristol. Exhibited at Ickworth 1980 and Blickling 1982 with FEL66C on both occasions.
Provenance
Part of the Bristol Collection. Acquired by the National Trust in 1956 under the auspices of the National Land Fund, later the National Heritage Memorial Fund.
