Summary
A bodice. Part of a tea gown in dusky pink silk velvet. Spotted net collar and sleeves, lined with shot taffeta. Edges of the taffeta lining are bound with ribbon. Bodice closed with two layers of hook and eye fastenings and a ribbon tie. Circa 1897 Lady Bristol.
Provenance
Part of the Bristol Collection. Acquired by the National Trust in 1956 under the auspices of the National Land Fund, later the National Heritage Memorial Fund.
