Summary

A tea gown in dusky pink silk velvet. The bodice has a spotted net collar and sleeves. The skirt and bodice are lined with shot taffeta, with a pocket in the proper right seam of the skirt and a folded velvet waistband. The original sleeves have pleated detail. Circa 1897 Lady Bristol.

Provenance

Part of the Bristol Collection. Acquired by the National Trust in 1956 under the auspices of the National Land Fund, later the National Heritage Memorial Fund.
