Oil painting on canvas, A Young Lady by Raymond, by Casimir Raymond (Marseilles 1870 - 1965), signed top right Raymond. A half-length portrait of a young lady in a chocolate brown dress with lace collar and wearing a high crowned brown hat trimmed with flowers and feathers, against a plain cream ground.

Bought by Richard D'Oyly Carte (1844 - 1901) reminding him of his wife Helen Lenoir (Susan Helen Couper Black) (1852 –1913); given to Mrs Christabel Grimmer by Bridget D'Oyly Carte (1908 - 1985) in 1985, from whom on loan.
