Engraving, Lord John Hervey, 2nd Baron Hervey of Ickworth, PC, MP (1696-1743) as Lord Privy Seal (after Jean-Baptiste van Loo) published by Sylvester Harding (Newcastle-under-Lyme 1745 - London 1809). Taken from portrait in Entrance Hall at Ickworth House. Label on back, handwritten 'John Lord Hervey, Author of Memoirs of George II. Eldest son of John, Earl of Bristol and Elizabeth, daughter of Sir Thomas Felton, 2nd wife, born 1696, died 1743. Married Mary Lepel. Probably ingraved from a picture of Van Loo'. Published March 1 1798 by S. Harding, 127 Pall Mall.
