Summary
Circular brass watch case covered in tortoiseshell studded with tiny brass flowerheads. Circular white enamel face to hinged lid, hand painted with galleon 'Venerable' at sea. Red velvet lining.
Provenance
Dudmaston collection; Bazley collection. Believed to have been acquired by Dudmaston through the Bazley family and their naval travels abroad.
