Caption
'Bo' was the childhood pet of Rachel, Lady Labouchere (1908-1996) who had inherited Dudmaston from her uncle, Captain Geoffrey Charlton Wolryche-Whitmore (1881-1969). The artist, Frances Evelyn Wolryche-Whitmore was Rachel's aunt. The dog is pictured in the nursery, standing in front of a doll's house with a doll and ball to his right.
