Summary
8-day bracket clock with ebonised fruitwood case: glazed door front and back with glass side panels and four bun feet. Elaborate ormolu basket top with classical handle and four corner finials. Broad silvered chapter ring, winged cherub spandrels. Brass back plate beautifully engraved with scrolling floral design. Single train, 6-pillar fusee movement with anchor escapement. High quality movement originally had verge escapement and pull quarter repeating.
