Summary
Watercolour and pencil on paper, Abbey Ruins by Edward Dayes (London 1763 - London 1804). A pencil drawn watercolour of abbey ruins, three storeys of pointed arch windows and doors, totally overgrown with trees. A peasant woman and child feed geese to the right. Card mount, grey wash borders; glazed in giltwood frame.

Lady Labouchere collection. Bought by Lady Labouchere from Agnew's, between 1956-1966, the time period when the majority of her watercolour collection was purchased.
