The bridge was rebuilt in 1823 with a Thomas Telford design. Bridgnorth is 3 miles north of Dudmaston.

Dudmaston collection; Martineau collection. This watercolour was left to Geoffrey Wolryche-Whitmore by the family lawyer, Martineau Senior.
