Summary
Teabowl (with saucer 813413.1), soft paste porcelain, transfer-printed in underglaze blue with two Chinese figures in garden under a willow tree near rockwork (the so-called" Chinese lady and Servant" pattern), within a diamond diaper border, probably Seth Pennington, Liverpool, England, circa 1785-95. Formerly attributed to Zachariah Barnes a china manufacturer in the Haymarket in Liverpool. The porcelains that he produced over what may have been a 20 year period have yet to be identified
