Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Naked Boy on a Tiger, possibly by Italian (Venetian) School, circa 1600. Unknown artist. Naked male putto riding a tiger, seen from behind. Known as ‘Peter Scott’ by Nigel and Ben Nicolson because he was made to run naked by his parents. Probably originally intended as an allegory of Force.
