A George III semi-circular commode veneered in tortoiseshell and with satinwood bandings, the front with three inlaid oval panels and a cupboard door, on short squared tapering legs, with a glass top added.
Provenance
This object came to the National Trust with the donation of Sissinghurst by Nigel Nicolson in 1967 and is listed as part of the Chattels Accepted in Lieu of Duty in 1972.
