Summary
A mahogany child's high chair on stand, English, circa 1780. The open armchair with arched top rail and pierced vase splat, floral needlework seat and square tapering legs, bolted (but detachable) to a small table/stand, also with square tapering legs, the adjustable footrest lacking.
Provenance
Part of the Hussey collection. The contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 2006 by Mrs. Elizabeth Hussey.
