An eight-day English striking longcase clock in an oak case by John Booth of Wakefield c1790; white painted break arch dial with painted rose and gilt-gesso spandrels, moon phase indication in the arch, Roman numerals and arabic five minutes, seconds dial and calendar dial; gilt brass hands; oak case with mahogany cross banding, scroll pediment, fluted brass capped columns; trunk with rectangular door with shaped top; square plinth with feet to skirting.
