Close Helmet, German 1560's; skull of one piece with roped comb; pierced with two pairs of holes each side of crown; plume-holder or bottom of comb; visor, upper bevor, bevor pivot on rosette stud at ear; two-plate neck-guard at front and rear; bevor held by hook and eye-pin, bevor and upper bevor by spring-catch, visor raised by pin; bevor has diagonal slots, seven each side; the visor possibly not belonging.
