Scots broadsword, probably c.1740; symmetrical basket hilt of two bullions with pair of loops below forward quillon; quillons joined to pommel by criss-crossing loops with cross and bow motifs; leather grip, blade with two pairs of fullers flanking five (right) and six (left) crowned heads.
