Summary
A pair of mahogany hall chairs, English, circa 1780 The carved wheel back with pierced arcaded spokes and leaf carved moulded frame with a circular dished central panel held by a waisted moulded neck. The dished solid shaped seat with moulded edge and fluted front seat rail centred by an oval flower head rosette raised on stop fluted square section tapered legs headed by further flower head rosettes.
