Portrait miniature, watercolour on ivory, Frances Twysden, Countess of Jersey (1753-1821) by Samuel Collins (Bristol 1735 – Dublin 1768). 1758. Oval. Head and shoulders portrait of a young child, turned to the right, gazing at the spectator, wearing a low-cut white dress with blue shoulder straps. Brown eyes, long black hair, pale face; plain grey background. Signed and dated 1758,
