Summary
One of thirteen cushions for a set of thirteen beechwood armchairs. Six of the cushions are yellow painted silk and match other furnishings in the Yellow Taffeta Bedroom. The other seven cushions are chintz (embroidered silk). The armchairs were created by John Linnell (London 1729 - 1796). This cushion is painted silk with a green fringe on the lower edge. The fabric is a mixture of foliage, small flowers, berries and a butterfly. The chair is 771800.6.
