Summary
A round silver gilt sideboard dish with finely chased 75 mm rim gadrooned with shell and foliate scrolled decoration in shaped, textured band, the plate has an applied baroque armorial, chased in high relief with architectural surround, the pediment is in the form of a scalloped shell wreathed in foliate scrolls and flanked by two phoenix birds, the sides and base with baroque mask scroll and swag decoration, the armorial is flanked by two Romaine panels.
